So many things wrong here.

First, Communists are not qualified to hold any office of public trust in the United States because their stated goal is to destroy the United States. That's letting the fox guard the hen house.

Second, the executive branch was not intended to be the first line of response to events like Katrina. It should have been handled by the State of Louisiana, which is where the REAL bungling occurred. The responsibility for the mismanagement of funds which were diverted away from the project to strengthen the levees falls directly in the laps of the Democrats in power prior to Katrina. Another prime example is how then-Governor Blanco told FEMA officials that the levees were holding--hours after they had been breached (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/03/03/katrina/main1364981.shtml). There is a reason a Republican now sits in the Governor's office in Louisiana.

Third, Beck hasn't lost many sponsors. Many of those the Left is claiming pulled their ads never ran ads during his shows to begin with. Beck isn't angry about the claimed loss of sponsors.

Fourth, Glenn Beck didn't launch any "smear campaign" against Van Jones. Van Jones stated he was a communist long before Glenn Beck brought it to everyone's attention. Well, the attention of everyone except the media, which continues to ignore it.

Fifth, calling Glenn Beck a racist in the light of the statements Van Jones makes about whites is not only untrue and libelous, but is monumentally hypocritical. "The white polluters and the white environmentalists are essentially steering poison into the people of color communities..." "Only suburban white kids shoot up schools." Need I go on?

Van Jones is an outstandingly qualified public servant who got his start at the grassroots. Four years ago, he co-founded Color of Change in the aftermath of the Bush administration's bugled response to Hurricane Katrina.

Color of Change has been very successful at bringing attention to Glenn Beck's race-baiting, and Beck has lost sponsors. Probably this won't make a dent in Beck's reported $18 million a year income, but it has made him angry!

So Beck launches another smear campaign, like he always does. And Van Jones resigns to go back to what he does best, advocacy against racists like Beck.
