Dave Reichert SPEAKS: says Cap and Trade will be good for America

He argued that the expense would not be what the Heartland Institute, Heritage Foundation, and Wall Street Journal were predicting. He argued that it would cost around $.48 per day and that we would have better national security, more nuclear, coal and refining capabilities, and a cleaner environment with the bill. He argued that the conservative arguments against were mistaken, and that Washington specifically would be better off even though the bill was imperfect.

And, he caught the Green River Killer.

Yeah, it took him a couple of decades, but better late than never.

I hear Fox was thinking about making the Series 24 about Reichert. But instead of showing 24 hours in a day they would have to make each episode a year.

Actually, Bud, the fear of losing their seats is what caused their “treachery” the author of this post so simple mindedly wishes to condemn.

All of them but Chris Smith live in districts that went for Obama over McCain. So if you get them to adhere lockstep to the GOP ideology above all else, you basically hand the Democrats a few more seats.

It’s not rocket science. It’s politics. The rest of the country is simply growing up, while a few (the author here, no doubt) are digging their heals in on a steady, downward slide into irrelevance.

I’m enjoying it for now, but I recognize that a two party system works best. Check and balances, etc. So for that reason alone, I hope the GOP pulls it’s head out, rather than follow the advice floated here.

The Democrats have been successfully using the Art of the Tantrum for years. Perhaps it’s just time Republicans got into the game.

Besides, what Liberals do is more like stealing somebody’s home and then telling them to stop complaining.

I really hope the Republican Party follows every Malkin lead.

I say that, because I enjoy the irrelevance the party has at this time, and believe they need to enjoy a few years in the woods, as the Democrats weathered, to come up with something better for Americans to vote for. Also, I enjoy watching Democrats win elections while Republicans throw temper tantrums.
